HALIBUT FISHING

Our halibut fishing trips leave out of La Push WA.  We will be fishing over 30 miles offshore on some of the best halibut grounds in the state.  We will fish for your halibut first, before going after lingcod.  We routinely catch lingcod at the same spots we're fishing for halibut.  We fish 4 rods at a time.  Trust us, you will get plenty of time on the rod to catch your halibut.  This is a very physically tiring fishery.  We have custom made rod holders from Rudnick manufacturing that were specifically designed for this fishery.

  • May and June

  • We use Edge Rods by Gary Loomis, with Diawa Seapower 800 electric reels for everyone on board.

  • We filet and bag your catch for the ride home.

  • We want everyone to go home with a smile on their face and a bag full of fish.  Therefore we split the catch between all anglers.

  • Halibut trips are 8-10 hours.

  • All fishing gear is included.  Please inquire before bringing any personalfishing gear aboard.

  • Balance is due prior to your charters departure.  A gratuity of 15-20% for the deckhands is customary.

$2500+ tax per charter inludes up to 6 anglers

Cancelation policy

  • A $500 deposit is required to book a date.  Your date isn't reserved until we receive your deposit.

  • If you cancel within 14 days of your trip, you will forfeit your deposit.

  • If we cancel your trip due to weather or mechanical issues we will refund your trip within 24 hours.

What to bring

  • A valid Washington State saltwater fishing license with a halibut punch card is required.

  • Plan for all types of weather.  We recommend extra layers and a full set of rain gear, including waterproof shoes.  Knee boots are the preferred footwear for these trips since we are constantly washing down the deck.

  • A sack lunch, snacks and drinks.  It's a long day on the water so plan to bring plenty of food and drinks.  Pack your lunch and snacks in a small lunchbox or bag.

  • Please no glass containers.

  • Beer is fine on the boat.  But please don't be that guy that gets out of hand.  We will end your trip early and there won't be a refund.

  • Don't forget your sunglasses and sunsceen.

  • A cooler to leave in your car to take your catch home.
